...and greatly enjoyed the ride ;-)
No, not a wee ribald Scottish folk ballad. (At least, not one I know!)...
"Virgin Lady" is actually the name of this high-speed Virgin/Alstom Pendolino tilt trainset,
on which I enjoyed the ride from London/Euston to Glasgow Central, where she was
captured before she could slip away into the Scottish mists on this November evening..

Train trips have a special feel to them, despite the modern train, it still is nostalgic.A train allows the traveller to wander around the wagons, to meet fellow travellers, to sit and watch the landscape…
