Frankfurt Alt und Neu
The traditional and the modern may vie for attention in Frankfurt's vibrant and skyward-reaching Bankenviertel financial district in the city's Innenstadt, but the Commerzbank, proudly showing its 1905 lineage, and its traditional neighbors hold their own amidst all the straight-edged glass and steel. And, while the Commerzbank also dominates the dynamic Frankfurt skyline with its tower, it is nice to see the institution continues to respect its heritage.
