Don't Look Now, Prometheus! (F11 for best viewing)
The golden one of Greek fame could not possibly have an inkling, but a large fuzzy green monster has tired of
chomping on boxy New York hybrid taxis and has set his sights on devouring...something with better lines.
Or so it seemed on this summer night in Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan.
Actually, "Split-Rocker" is a huge floral sculpture in the form of a child's rocking horse by Jeff Koons.
37 feet tall with its own irrigation system, it was paying a visit to Rockefeller Center when I visited in 2014.
Should that irrigation system fail, ol' Split can certainly drink from Prometheus' fountain - Prometheus won't be missing it ;-)
