A refreshing destination on a hot summer's day in Washington...
The Bartholdi Fountain is the centerpiece of a pocket park near the Capitol.
Across Independence Avenue can be seen the domes of the U.S. Botanic Gardens.
This image is part of an extensive portfolio of Washington scenes in black and white,
which are available in archival gallery prints and on custom printed Photo Note Cards.
It was captured on Foma Pan Classic-100 film in a Nikon FA with Nikkor 50 mm lens.
