7Scape no.1

A glowering sky looms over the towers of midtown Manhattan in the hazy distance on this summer afternoon,
as a No. 7 local departs 33rd Street – Rawson Street station in Queens, on its way to Manhattan.

My “7Scapes” series (*) will follow the long trains of the IRT No. 7 Flushing Line
as they call at stations from midtown Manhattan through destinations in Queens.
