People Will Say We're in Love
In the warm late afternoon sunshine of this lovely June day, these "love locks" on the Brooklyn Bridge
speak to the romantic attraction between the couples who've placed them on the bridge girder.
On the deck below, cars streak by in the direction of Brooklyn, across the East River.

So this fashion of declaring love in public is found now everywhere...Some time ago there was a report on TV in Spain where they explained this had originated some place in Italy.
They also said that the rivers below these bridges were affected and contaminated by the keys the lovers throw into the waters to symbolize they and their love will be locked forever.
And that the huge amount of locks put on some bridges where changing their stability....
Interesting and colourful shot on a new way of declaring love or "loitering"...
